Category: Arm and Leg. The ticket prices are gonna have you doing something “strange for a piece of change”. Nonetheless the beyhive is super stoked and willing to risk it all to get to the Beyonce concert.

Beyonce performs in Dubai for the opening of the Atlantis luxury hotel.

The “Church Girl” hitmaker made the announcement on Instagram Wednesday.

Initially ticket prices started at $488 then quickly escalated to the starting price at $700. However Bey had a little something up her sleeve for true fans and Beyhive members where you can register for pre-sale tix. And while registering for the pre sale doesn’t guarantee you a ticket, it puts you in a lottery to bid on tickets once they become available. Because her team is already anticipating a sold out show. Obviously….duh.

Renaissance hit the charts and hasn’t stopped going up in numbers. It was the most streamed on Spotify for weeks in a row, and receive several accolades from nods from big time producers and music critics. Not to mention fans making a viral tiktok dance from one of the tracks on the album.

Although no phones were permitted into the grand opening of the star studded Atlantis Dubai performance; that didn’t stop fans from recording. In secretly recorded footage worldwide, Beyonce seemingly begins the show floating to the top of the stage ina yellow dress, while belting out Etta James ‘At Last.’

Moving through a decade of iconic hits, Beyoncé, 41, performed staples such as “Crazy in Love,” “Beautiful Liar” and “Naughty Girl,” as well as more recent tunes including “Freedom,” “Spirit” and “Be Alive.”

Further, she can be seen performing “Crazy In Love” and “Naughty Girl” from her 2003 debut solo album, Dangerously In Love, her iconic ballad “Halo” and the smooth groove “Drunk In Love” from her 2013 self-titled album, and the more recent anthem, “Freedom,” from her groundbreaking visual album Lemonade.

It appeared the Beyhive wasn’t ready for their Queen to open with Etta James’ “At Last,” however, as the crowd went crazy for the performance, per the videos. The Grammy and Oscar winner looked every inch the superstar as she rocked a stunning yellow gown featuring a gorgeous, feathered cape. Only in Beyonce style did the Queen close out the show in a red lingerie number while hitting the high notes on a floating stage.

Dressed in a red, sparkling ensemble, Blue Ivy sang her portion of the Grammy Award-winning song, while her mom, wearing a yellow corseted dress that was topped with a feathered skirt and matching backpiece, sang her own parts.

At the end of the track, Variety reported that Blue Ivy hugged her mom and walked up the stage’s steps, where she then struck a pose and blew kisses to the crowd before her.

I mean, after all Beyoncé is…‘That girl’. So we’re not surprised that she’s raking in the dough for her first performance since the drop of her highly anticipated summer album entitled “Renaissance.” Except this performance is not up the road from the house, she’s going to be in Dubai performing for the Atlantis grand opening. Several A-list celebrities are expected to be in the place. Fans in Dubai over heard her sound check apparently amid rehearsal for the huge event.

The Beyhive is almost holding their breath, but the “Heated” hitmaker has not yet announced a tour behind the album. However, this weekend several journalists and celebrities might be the first to see the singer perform live for the first time since a Kobe and Gianna Bryant tribute back in 2020.

Beyonce is Footin the Bill For a Litty Weekend in Dubai

Per an invitation that many publications (including Pitchfork) received from the musician’s team; the “Church Girl” hitmaker is hosting an all-expenses-paid luxury weekend in Dubai, taking place January 20 to 22. The invite is for the unofficial opening of Atlantis the Royal hotel, and begins as follows:

“Beyoncé invites you to a weekend where your dreams become your destination. You and a guest are invited for epicurean feasts, beachside indulgences, and special reveal experiences including business class airfare, first-class ground transportation, and first-class accommodations at Atlantis the Royal.”

A “once in a lifetime performance” is mentioned, too, but no artist names are attached to it.

Beyonce Has’nt Seen A Stage in Dubai Since 2009

Believe it or not, Bey isn’t the only pop artist to hit Dubai’s stage. Many pop stars, including Blur, the Killers, not to mention her husband, Jay-Z, have played in the United Arab Emirates since she last performed in the capital, Abu Dhabi, in 2009.

This weekend’s Dubai performance was sparsely reported. The UK tabloid The Sun reported in December that Beyoncé was planning an hourlong performance in Dubai’s luxury resort Atlantis the Royal. On top of that, a source told The Sun that Swedish House Mafia would DJ at an afterparty; which is also confirmed by the invitation.

Fans Started Investigating Earlier This Month

Fans had been curious since the jump. It all started when Beyonce’s stylists, KJ Moody put out tweets on Friday, Jan 13.
Despite the tweet being elusive about a “16 hour flight”, but Vance Gamble literally tweeted “Dubai Bound.” It wasn’t long before the math started mathing and fans realized Beyonce was already headed to Dubai.

But, both the tweets have now been deleted so oop-

Uniquitous footage surfaced Saturday just ahead of the show, where people who had snagged a seat were saying that the hotel and other honchos were demanding people put their devices in locked zip bags.
