Donald Trump's Gag Order Leaves Republicans Shook.

Republican commentators have reacted in disgust to reports that a gagging order may be placed on Donald Trump to prevent him from commenting on his indictment, describing it as "insanity" and "despicable."

Donald Trump's lawyer doesn't know what to expect when the former president is arraigned on Tuesday in New York City given the historic nature of Trump's indictment, he said on Sunday.

Trump earlier this month incorrectly predicted his arrest was imminent in Bragg’s probe of his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels. Since then, he has directed a stream of invective at Bragg. (His team has also cooked up a specific plan to take revenge on the prosecutor if Trump retakes the White House.) Beyond the baseball bat post and the “death and destruction” warning, he has described Bragg — Manhattan’s first Black district attorney — as an “animal” and “racist.” Trump also claimed Bragg was “Soros-backed,” referring to the Jewish Holocaust survivor, philanthropist, and frequent conspiracy theory target, George Soros. Trump has also called prosecutors “human scum” and told his fans to “protest, take our nation back.”

The reality show couple began their prison sentence in February for tax invasion and bank fraud.

Todd Chrisley received12 years in prison, while his wife Julie Chrisley got seven years behind bars, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Atlanta.

Two Gaithersburg MD women arrested for sex trafficking

The two disgraced women have been charged with multiple counts of sex trafficking and prostitution after allegedly running an unlicensed spa in in the 9500 block of Georgia Avenue, according to Montgomery County police.

The women whose names are Ana Delia Solano,48, and Ana Cristina Bermudez,49 were using racy photos of women to sell massage services on Craigslist.

During the five-month investigation, detectives saw men entering and leaving the “spa” and learned that the clients were offered extra services with prices based on the sexual service provided, police said.

Solano and Bermudez allegedly hired several women as massage therapists and are facing charges of coercion and sex trafficking by force. 

Solano was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 30, and is being held without bond. Bermudez was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 1. Her bond status is not currently available, police said.

The strike comes as a result of protesting plans to change the country's judicial system. Israelites have conducted mass walkouts and demonstrations over the weekend against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayahu's plans. McDonald's announced it's chains would close at noon on Monday, and a nationwide shutdown would be completed two hours later.

Florida Ban on Sex Ed and Gender Curriculum Becomes Official

This policy outlined that teachers “shall not intentionally” lead instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in grades 4 hrough grade 12.

On Wednesday, the State Board of Education voted to ban Florida Middle School and High School teachers from teaching gender identity. Teachers who do not adhere are subject to suspension and license being revoked.

The bill defines “sexually-oriented material” as “any depiction, description, or simulation of sexual activity, any lewd or lascivious depiction or description of human genitals, or any topic involving gender identity, gender dysphoria, transgenderism, sexual orientation, or related subjects.”

Suspect Arrested After Killing Eight People in Serbia

The suspect is arrested after a massive manhunt Thursday night. Allegedly, the attacker opened fire in the village of Dubona, about 37 miles SE of the Servian capital Belgrade, Serbian according to CNN. This makes for the second mass shooting in Europe within a matter of two days.

While Serbia is not a country new to violence and war, this is the first time the country has had to deal with such mass shootings back to back like this.

Meanwhile, it has the highest level of civilian gun ownership in Europe, and the fifth-highest in the world – a legacy of years of conflict in the 1990s. But getting a gun legally is a complicated process that requires a background check, medical check and a training course. The person wanting a gun also has to prove they have a good reason to own one.

Maryland's New Governor Wes Moore Says Marylanders Whose SNAP Benefits Were Stolen Between October 2022-February 2023 Will Be Reimbursed.

A woman in Florida has been arrested on 12 charges of animal cruelty and one charge of child neglect after she was allegedly found living with a child and hundreds of animals in squalor.

Police in Citrus County, Florida, said they received an animal cruelty report directing them to the home of Shannon Marie Morgan, 38, on Wednesday, according to Fox affiliate WTVT-TV.

"Immediately upon entering the residence, Sheriff’s Office personnel were overwhelmed by the pungent smell of ammonia," the office said in a press release. "They initially observed several cages and glass aquariums containing snakes and rodents but also saw rats and cats running freely in the home. It was blatantly obvious; these animals were deprived of all their basic necessities."

In one bedroom they found two cages, one containing a ferret and another with a dog inside it, with cops saying "both animals were deprived of food and water." In another room, which was occupied by a juvenile whose name and age has not been released, authorities reported seeing a mattress on the ground, "covered in roaches" -- as well as multiple cats which were "actively dismembering a rat."

The third bedroom contained "approximately 50 rodents in cages in addition to over 300 other rodents roaming freely" -- with an officer writing in the arrest affidavit that "rodents had completely taken over control" of the room.

Animal control eventually removed seven cats, one dog, before the house was "secured for further investigation," which includes the removal for three snakes and the many rodents in question.

NAACP Issues Warning for Black People To Stay Away From the State of Florida

The urgent travel advisory comes on the heels of  Gov. Ron DeSantis' "aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools."

Additionally, the League of United Latin American Citizens and LGBTQ advocacy group Equality Florida previously issued travel advisories, where tourism is a major financial portion of gains for the Sunshine State.

The travel advisory warns that those traveling to the state should be aware that "Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals."

The advisory also described DeSantis and his Florida government as on a "seeming quest to silence African-American voices" amid the governor removing history lessons on slavery from being taught in schools.

A USPS letter carrier of 18 years was shot dead last Friday as he delivered mail on the north side of Milwaukee. Consequently, police are now searching for a suspect who was captured on surveillance video firing a single fatal round at Aundre Cross, 44, before fleeing in a gray Audi SUV. Cross, who was a father of three, was working his route when he was shot just before 5pm, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

People along his route said Cross was a character, often heard laughing or singing gospel.

A St. Louis KFC Employee Shot & Hospitalized by a Customer After Telling the Customer There was no More Corn

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. on Monday in the city’s Central West End neighborhood just before the shooter fled the scene.

Investigators said the man tried to place an order in the restaurant’s drive-thru lane. He became upset and threatened employees when he was told the business was out of corn, police said.

Police described the suspect as a Black man, around 40-50 years of age and thin built with a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket with a gray hood and sleeves.

At Least 8 People Shot at MLK Day Parade in Florida

More than 1,000 people were attending a block party with live music and a car show at Ilous Ellis Park in Fort Pierce, north of West Palm Beach, when multiple gunshots rang out at approximately 5:20 p.m. local time, just hours after an MLK Day parade had ended, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office.

"It was mass chaos," Chief Deputy Brian Hester, who took part in the parade, told reporters on Monday night. "People were running in all different directions."

Lisa Marie Presley is Being Buried Beside Her Father's Grave in Graceland

On Thursday, Jan. 12, Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital for a possible cardiac arrest and died later that day at 54 years old. Priscilla confirmed her daughter's death with PEOPLE.

She will be memorialized this weekend. According to TMZ, the grave is being worked on as of Tuesday, but there are other things in the works for Sunday's gathering -- including a possible stage with a backdrop on Graceland's front lawn.

And according to GMA, Lisa Marie Presley's three daughters will inherit a trust that includes Gracelandfollowing her death.

A representative for Graceland confirmed that the iconic estate, which is located in Memphis, Tennessee, will go to Riley Keough, 33; Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood, 14, and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, 14.

More Than 400 Food Products are Being Recalled Due to Potential Listeria

After some environmental samples were discovered with bacteria, Fresh Ideation Food Group LLC, of Baltimore, Maryland, is recalling products sold during part of last month because they could potentially be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes.

That's "an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems,” the company said in an announcement last week. However, the bacteria can also affect younger adults and others.

  • We get it! No one wants to lose their luggage. Nonetheless, the over-zealous passengers are most likely looking to claim seating and overhead bin space.
  • But it's a major flight attendant pet peeve, 10-year flight attendant Rich Henderson told Insider. 

"Just stay as out of the way as possible of the boarding area until your group is at least close to being called," Henderson said. "If our frequent fliers and top-tier people aren't even close to getting on the plane and your crew isn't even close to getting on the plane, you really have no business standing right at the gate."

Nashville School Shooter Messaged Ex-Teammate "Something bad is about to happen" Shortly Before Firing Weapon And Killing At Least Six People

Averianna Patton said she saw the Instagram messages at 9:57 a.m. Monday, less than 20 minutes before police said they received calls about a shooter at the private Christian school.

In the messages, Audrey Hale, talked about not wanting to live anymore and said that their family did not know what they were about to do.

In the first message sent to Patton, Hale signed it as "Audrey (Aiden)."

Patton tried to be supportive, according to screenshots of the messages. In their last message, Hale said that something bad was about to happen and asked for forgiveness.
