WARNING: GRAPHIC FOOTAGE. The world is out of control. Police have arrested a Prince George’s County daycare employee after she recorded herself assaulting the children at the Oxon Hill Center for Early Learning in the 6000 block of Oxon Hill Rd.

According to P G County Police (PGPD), the suspect, identified as Kayla Greenwell, 23, of Oxon Hill, was arrested on Friday. Greenwell, who police say worked to the center since late March, is charged with multiple counts of child abuse and assault. Her court date is set for Monday.

According to ABC7, the woman allegedly flung a toddler across the room. Not to mention, she shoved a chair from underneath another child. Additionally, one of the victims’ parents, Ledarra White, told 7News that she rushed to pick up her 3-year-old son from daycare Friday night.
“I was asleep. It was my day off and I woke up to a lot of messages just sending me videos saying, ‘isn’t this your son’s school? Isn’t this your son’s school?’” White said.

Sadly, the center confirmed the video was taken inside their facility. Moreover, they said they contacted the Prince George’s County Police Department and child protective services. On top of that, a letter was sent out to families of the daycare Friday, saying in part:
“As many of you know, a disturbing video showing a former employee displaying inappropriate behavior with two children has gone viral on social media. We take seriously the safety of your children. Therefore, upon being informed of the video, we immediately took action. The employee was fired . All hiring requirements were followed which included a criminal background check and a child abuse check. Both checks came back clear.”
Regardless, social media users discovered the suspect’s address, so she may need to re-locate to protect her safety. This incident sent social media in a rage.
