Kanye West Went From Being A Billionaire To A Millionaire After Insulting Comments He Made About George Floyd and Jews

Looks like Ye’s aggressive opinions have cost him literally ‘a fortune.’ As previously reported Kanye West appeard on a podcast called Drink Champs last week with N.O.R.E and said some really bizarre things.

Namely that Jewish people run the world and that George Floyd didn’t die from former officer Chauvin’s knee.

In fact he said “If you look at the tape, you see his knee wasn’t wasn’t on his neck like that.”

So now his partnerships with Adidas and CAA Agency are cutting ties with the rapper. On top of that, GAP clothing brand is pulling out the axe too. Undoubtedly, the removal of partnerships from the business mogul are going to affect his pockets big time since Adidas made more than 50 percent of his net worth; which was in the $2.5 billion.

To add insult to injury, on the same day that the talent agency cut ties with the rapper, studio executives announced that a completed documentary about the rapper has been shelved.

And here is what social media had to say on the matter:

Regardless, West’s popular spacey looking shoe Yeezys was the consumer product that Adidas picked up in a collaborative effort. Furthermore, the first product from the collaboration was released in 2015, and sales are estimated to be around $2 billion annually; or 10% of Adidas’s total sales, according to Fortune.

Currently as a result of the loss of partnership Ye is now worth $400 million — from his music catalog, real estate, cash and his 5% stake in SKIMS, ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand. (A source close to SKIMS told the outlet West hasn’t been involvement with the business since it launched three years ago. Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021.)
