It’s always a plus when you can ‘keep it in the family’. And that’s just what the rapper Jadakiss has done. Standing alongside his father Bob Phillips and son Jaewon Phillips they pose for the marketing photo to promote family-owned coffee shop. According to VIBE, The Kiss Café branding was creatively spearheaded by longtime creative director and friend to the family, Set Free Richardson, whose agency, Compound, will facilitate all marketing efforts. Furthermore, Jadakiss’ dad is the president and CEO of Caturra Corp, a boutique firm specializing in international green coffees. Bob Phillips called Kiss Café one of the proudest achievements in his personal and professional life.

The shop was founded by two men, BLK & Bold, a Black owned coffee brand that’s partnered with the NBA and other major retailers like Amazon and Whole Foods. Nonetheless, the rapper excitedly made the announcement on Instagram.
The post read,’ “Kiss Cafe is officially here.”
“This coffee is for all coffee lovers,” Jadakiss said in a press release. “No specific age or background or knowledge. Coffee is a universal and a personal thing. Everyone enjoys it differently. And, we’re here to help them do that.”
