As previously reported, Girls Trip actress Tiffany Haddish and MADTV cast member Aries Spears found themselves in hot mess. Both the comedians were legally accused of child molestation and ended up in a lawsuit.
But meanwhile; Per new court docs, obtained by TMZ, the plaintiff named ‘Jane Doe’ requested the courts to dismiss the case with prejudice … ‘meaning it cannot be refiled again.’ Jane Doe didn’t mention Aries Spears in her request, but she did emphasize Tiffany Haddish.
“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”

What Did The Lawsuit Entail
In the lawsuit filed on August 30, the alleged victim claimed both she and her younger brother were invited to participate in a sketch skit by Tiffany; who is a long time friend of her moms.
Jane Doe alleged Tiffany and Aries had her film a scene where she imitated felatio on a long sub sandwich along with Spears.
The video featuring the brother, who according to the complaint was 7 at the time and was filmed in his underwear, was called “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes.” The clip showed Spears’ character lusting after the boy to the soundtrack of R. Kelly’s “Bump and Grind,” while Haddish is featured as the mom who repeatedly leaves her son alone with Spears. Moreover in all fairness there are infomercials and the like that exhibit what NOT to do in regard to children and safety. It seems as though the comedians may have been trying to take that aim, on err of caution.
Aries Spears Responds To The Allegations
Spears, meanwhile, discussed the situation on his podcast. “It’s bothering me not to talk about the skit,” he said. “There’s some very valid things I feel like I have to say, or want to say, but just can’t at this time. And I’m no coward. I’m not running from anything and I’m not guilty of anything.”
