Naomi Judd, 76, the one part of the Grammy-award winning country duet group, ‘The Judds‘; passed away on April30. Initially, the cause was unclear and undisclosed.
However, Thursday morning Page Six confirmed Naomi ‘died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound’. Ashley Judd, the daughter who found her mother dead told Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America Thursday; “She used a weapon.My mother used a firearm,” Ashley told Diane Sawyer.
“So that’s the piece of information we are very uncomfortable sharing. It was a mixed day”.

She continues to reminisce on the day that changed her life forever: “I visit with my mom and pop everyday when I’m home in Tennessee, so I was at the house…and Mom said to me, ‘Will you stay with me?” And I said ‘Of course I will’.
She continues to tell Diane Sawyer ” I went upstairs to let her know that her friend was there, and I discovered her. I have both grief and trauma from discovery.”
