Blake Lively Revealed Her Dress On The Red Carpet
It was a turn up on the red carpet as Blake Lively unveiled her fashion linens while debuting her personal style. Crowds of people cheered on as she basically unwrapped herself in her long staircase lined gown.

But after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19;the over-the-top costume party is back to it’s regularly scheduled ‘agenda’; with its annual scheduled date of the first Monday in May, this year being May 2. The 2022 Met Gala theme is “Gilded Glamour,” a nod to the corresponding exhibit “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” It’s the second part of a Met installation following the 2021 Met Gala exhibit “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” and the 2021 Met Gala “American Independence” theme. Another bullet point to take note of: This year’s red carpet dress code is white tie.

This year’s gilded glamour theme pays homage to the era of style between the 1870s and 1900s. The white-tie affair suggests attendees show up in garments reflective of America’s gilded age, which basically means the tighter the corset and longer the opera gloves, the better. So basically, it’s all about who can be the most extravagant and adhere to ‘the assignment’ at hand.
