When Getting In The Wrong Rideshare Gets You Held At Gunpoint

GAITHERSBURG- A rideshare driver held passengers at gunpoint hostage on Sunday;forcing them to wipe out their accounts at the ATM reported by NBCWashington 4. A white dodge charger is the suspected vehicle. Police have released surveillance footage of the incident. Apparently, the victims got into the wrong car, and didn’t thoroughly inspect and/or question the driver.

“D.C. police said an unspecified number of victims entered a white Dodge Charger with no front license plate at around 12:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Florida Avenue NW; thinking it was a rideshare. During the ride; the “suspects produced a handgun and locked the doors of the vehicle.” And even though the suspects are still potentially onthe loose, they are ‘wanted for kidnapping while armed with a gun.’
