As we previously reported; Chris Rock launched his “EgoDeath” comedy tour right after getting slapped onstage by Will Smith at The Oscars. Will Smith was pissed at the comedian for saying to Jada “Can’t wait to see you in G.I. Jane 2”.
Will Smith took offense because Jada Pinkett-Smith suffers from alopecia. Not even sure if Chris Rock was aware of that fact. Women rock bald heads all the time, and although he is friends with the couple, he still may not have known. Anyway, Chris Rock didn’t retaliate and won’t be pressing charges. However it seems he has a posse on his side regardless. Fans started to heckle ‘F**k Will Smith’ while onstage at The Boston Wilbur theater; during his tour Thursday night. However, Rock wasn’t having the disrespect and shut it down immediately, saying “No, no, no” until the chanting stopped. Adding, “I’m going to tell some joke. It’s nice to just be out.”
After that, security threw several people out. One fan from New York said, “All we did was interact and respond to the comedian–they are so afraid that someone is going to say something that they kicked us out before we could”.
Rock did somewhat crack a joke in regard to the Oscar’s fiasco, saying, “Is that the Oscar’s security?”
A Politician Disagreed With The Audience
On the contrary, it seems a politician chimed in but her opinion was opposite of Chris Rock’s comedy show audience. Apparently, far left Rep. Ayanna Pressley sided with The ‘I,Robot’ actor via a Tweet she eventually deleted. The caption read: #Alopecia nation stand up! Thank you #WillSmith Shout out to all the husbands who defend their wives living with alopecia in the face of daily ignorance & insults”, the lawmaker said. Adding, “Women with baldness are for the real men only. Boys need not apply.”
