“I’m still processing what happened”, Rock told the crowd at the first night of his sold out show in Boston.
Rock added that he would have more to say “at some point” and that it would be “serious and funny”, Variety reported.
“We love you,” someone shouted at one point, eliciting cheers from the audience, according to the audio.

The ticket prices skyrocketed to thousands of dollars immediately after the slap incident at The Oscars. Third party ticket vendors purchased most, I’d not all of the tickets after the incident knowing the tickets would sell out due to the live controversy. Nonetheless Chris Rock addressed his fans and promises to speak on the incident. Just not right now. In the meantime he hasn’t publicly accepted Will Smith apology.
