Western leaders, including Boris Johnson, Kamala Harris; the US vice-president, Olaf Scholz, Germany’s chancellor; and Ukraine’s president will discuss the crisis this weekend at the annual Munich security conference. However, Russia and China will not be in attendance.
The genesis of the catastrophic Russian invasion started on Thursday; and has been marked by indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas and strikes on protected facilities such as hospitals; Amnesty International said; adding that it documented three incidents in which at least six civilians were killed and a dozen wounded.
