Miss Alabama Suffered Head Trauma And Passed Away At Age 27

Miss Alabama Zoe Sozo Bethel; who was crowned Miss Alabama for America Strong in 2021; died from blunt force trauma when she allegedly fell from a three story building; in Miami on Feb. 18; a spokesperson for the Miami Police Department tells E! News.

The three story fall sent her into an 8 day coma; thus being declared dead within a week after police officers responded to a call about a possible suicide attempt in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami on Feb. 11 at 5:24 a.m.

Even though her death was initially investigated as a suicide; hence her family pushed back against that narrative; as she was an avid pro-lifer.

“The final report will reflect the nature of the accident but it was not a suicide,” her older brother Santiago Roman texted The Sun.”This was a preliminary police report done by a field officer. In the end, the detective will have the final report.”

Finally, relatives said she “was growing and becoming more successful each year of her life, and she was only just beginning. And if she had a choice; she would still be here with us today.”

Subsequently, they added Bethel was “a loving mother, devoting her all to caring for her 5-year-old daughter.”

In addition to serving as Miss Alabama for America Strong; she was a political commentator for conservative media company Right Side Broadcasting Network; a brand ambassador for Turning Point USA; and involved at Liberty University’s Falkirk Center; her family said.
