He and model Bre Tiesi are expecting a baby boy. The television star just recently lost a son with another woman, whom he shared 6 month old Zen with. He passed away from an aggressive brain tumor. Which is why it was difficult to know when and how to share the news of the new baby arrival. Even Bre Tiesi says she was not expecting such a reaction from social media in regard to her pregnancy. Additionally, she was upset that the announcement even happened. Not sure what she was expecting. I mean, Nick Cannon is an A-list celebrity; not to mention having an 8th child, especially after the celibacy announcement he made in October.
Bre Tiesi Says She Was Horrified After Baby Reveal
Tiesi says she was horrified at how the news was spread about her pregnancy, after pictures of both she and Cannon went viral of the two hosting their baby shower. Not to mention the fact that Nick actually announced it. Anyway, she goes on to post:
“Given the recent announcement regarding my pregnancy, I would like to address a few things,” she wrote on Jan. 31. “From the day I found out I was pregnant, I was over the moon excited and filled with joy. I am incredibly excited and eager to be a mommy.”
She continued, “I purposefully kept my pregnancy private for various reasons, and am horrified that this precious moment was exploited and plastered all over TMZ. This was not how I’d hope to share this news especially given that I’ve been able to protect this news for almost my entire pregnancy. With that said, thank you to those surrounding me with love during this beautiful time in my life. I cannot wait to meet my son.”
Nick Cannon Responds To Bri’s Concerns About The Reveal Of The Pregnancy
“I didn’t know what to say when I was dealing with Zen or to hold off,” Nick added. “Even right now, that it came out yesterday, that wasn’t planned to talk about it. We wanted to, you know, hold on as long as we can, but it happened. We here and I’m with my family.”
Nick Cannon Clears Up The Celibacy Thing
On his self-titled talk show [The Nick Cannon Show]; the tv host and entertainer made it clear about his celibacy, emphasizing his loyalty to his commitment.
“My therapist was one of the people who said I should probably be celibate and the reason why is because I had shared that news about Bre being pregnant”, he shared on the show.
