Ruff Ryder’s Queen Eve has a lil Ryder on the way. And it’s so cute to watch. Back in the day you just never would have guessed Eve would be settled down with a family.
The grammy award winning star is announced that she’s expecting her first child with her husband Maxmillion Cooper.
In October, days before debuting in a streamed sitcom, the hip hop icon announced her pregnancy with Cooper. According to The New York Post, the new mom to be isn’t really so new at this, for the last ten years she’s been a step mom to her husband’s four children. Nevertheless, she’s estatic to be having one of her very own, along with her hubby.
“I couldn’t have planned this — both at the same time — but it’s amazing,” said Eve, 42, who is due in February after years of struggling to conceive with her husband, British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper. “You obviously want and wish and hope, and you continue down the path and you try, and I think you get to the point sometimes when you’re like, ‘Is it ever going to happen?’ And thankfully it did happen. I feel incredibly, incredibly happy and blessed.”
The rapper isn’t letting the pregnancy slow her down at all though. She’s starring in a new show where she’s part of a 90’s girl rap group. Season one is set to air again in February, however its unclear if the show will produce a season 2. Even still, it’s been a long time coming for the movie actress; especially when it comes to acting. Her last acting role was on self-entitled sitcom ‘Eve’, from 2003-2006. Her breakthrough in movies came from the southside Chicago based film Barbershop.
Eve Recently Debuted On ABC’s Queens
On the sitcom, starring Eve, Brandy Norwood, Naturi Naughton and Nadine Velasquez Eve plays a woman who juggles a rap career while being a mom to five kids.
