Finally, the suspected killers of Memphis rapper Young Dolph are in police custody. After all; one of the suspects, Justin Johnson, 23; posted on his Instagram Saturday that he was going to turn himself in on Monday. As if this were a volunteer opportunity.

However, TMZ reported that Johnson was arrested at 3p.m. by U.S. Marshals Officers Tuesday in Indiana’. Moreover; a prosecutor said on Wednesday that the two suspects are no strangers to crime, as Johnson at age 17; was charged of aggravated rape and aggravated robbery; according to Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich. On top of that, he also served time for shooting three people at a bowling alley; and had been arrested on state drug and weapons charges; Weirich said.
Second Suspect in Young Dolph Killing
Cornelius Smith; 32, was indicted on first-degree murder. He’s a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and other charges; the Shelby County District Attorney announced Tuesday. Finally; he was arrested last month on an auto theft warrant linked to a white Mercedes Benz that prosecutors said was used in Young Dolph’s killing. Even though the two suspects are in custody; a third man named Shundale Barnett; is facing ‘accessory after the fact’ charges.
As we previously reported; Young Dolph was killed in November while in his hometown visiting Makeda’s Cookies; as he was attempting to give out turkeys; something he does annually for his community.
