Ghislaine Maxwell, the ex-girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein; recently got dumped by her husband of five years. While Maxwell was in solitary confinement, her husband told her over a prison phone call that he was moving on with an alleged yoga teacher.
The news comes as a bit of a shock; since he was just recently writing the judge on Ghislaine’s behalf. But none of that seemed to matter when it came to his personal happiness. Scott Borgerson, 46, told his wife that he was moving on from the marriage on a phone call while she was in solitary confinement. Ghislaine was convicted of assisting Jeffrey Epstein to groom young girls for sex with them. Mainly with him…but Maxwell would sometimes join in, according to some of the victims.
Ghislaine May Be Eligibe For A Re-Trial
However, lawyers say the sex trafficking criminal is eligible for a re-trial.
The juror said he told fellow jurors that, like some of Epstein’s victims, he had been abused as a child.
The man, who asked to be identified by his first and middle name, Scotty David, told reporters that he shared his experiences with jurors after some had questioned the recollections from two of Maxwell’s accusers.
“I know what happened when I was sexually abused. I remember the colour of the carpet, the walls. Some of it can be replayed like a video,” he said he told the jury, according to The Independent. “But I can’t remember all the details, there are some things that run together.”
“When I shared that, they were able to sort of come around on, they were able to come around on the memory aspect of the sexual abuse,” Scotty David said, referring to other jurors, according to the Reuters news agency.
