Marjorie Taylor Greene Gets Twitter Permanently Suspended

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Rep., is an anti-vaxxer in U.S. Congress. In addition to this, according to Twitter, the Georgia Rep’s personal Twitter account was permanently deleted on Sunday for sharing COVID misinformation.

Nonetheless, this would be the fifth strike for the governor; who had the blue app revoke her privileges in August, when she said ‘COVID vaccines should not be fully approved’.

And Saturday was the last straw, when she posted a tweet about “extremely high amounts of Covid vaccine deaths”.

That particular Tweet earned Greene a Twitter Ban pass; as she joins her side kick Donald Trump in the Tweet ban club. Just two years ago, the former president has his Twitter account permanently revoked due to similar actions.

Greene says that Facebook joined in on the ‘ban wagon’ and suspended her account for 24 hours. She posted the message on a MAGA supported platform, in place of her banned Twitter account.

“Facebook has joined Twitter in censoring me. This is beyond censorship of speech. I’m an elected Member of Congress representing over 700,000 US tax paying citizens and I represent their voices, values, defend their freedoms, and protect the Constitution,” Greene wrote on GETTR [a conservative social media platform].

Others Join In On The Cancel Culture App In Support Of Marjorie Greene

Joe Rogan, a widely known political podcaster joined the app; garnering over 171k joins after his arrival to the app was announced.

“Just in case shit over at Twitter gets even dumber, I’m here now as well,” Rogan, who remains on Twitter, wrote in his first post on GETTR. “Rejoice!”
