NBA YoungBoy Tells DJ Akademiks He Does Not Want To Work With Kodak Black

Kentrell DeSean Gaulden AKA NBA (Never Broke Again) YoungBoy told Akademiks why he didn’t want to work with Kodak Black. It wasn’t until 21 Savage appeared on the podcast as well saying that a lot of artists didn’t want to work with YoungBoy because of their loyalty to Lil Durk.

Due to a situation that happened between Lil Durks artist and YoungBoy’ s artist, there has been thick tension between the two ever since. 21 Savage told Alademik on his podcast, “You don’t have to pick sides, but you gotta be a certain type of artist to be in the middle.” He name-dropped artists like Post Malone, who likely wouldn’t have any issues working with either one of the artists, but said that other more street-savvy rappers would need to watch their step.

However the situation between Kodak Black and YoungBoy derived from Kodak accusing YoungBoy of being a snitch back in April 2020. Hopefully the two talented artists can come to a resolve.

On Thursday night (Aug. 11), NBA YoungBoy  deactivated his Instagram page for a second time. But before doing so, he issued a statement to his fans and seemingly delivered a parting shot at Yak.

“To be honest I really don’t care about this being my last album,” YB captioned a photo of himself. “I finally can say I completed something. I ain’t finish school. I never finish nothing but my smoke… but nah gangster I then shed tears from the way y’all been doing me but it’s all for the better. tell Dave and my grandma I completed something and I’m doing fine.”
