RG3 (Robert Griffin III), [WFT’s former quarterback] is exploding with his side of the story in his new book entitled ‘Surviving Washington‘. As a co-author of the project ; he blatanly describes the sexual harrassment he experienced as a quarterback with the franchise. Leaving out few details, he talks about his relationships with Dan Snyder, Mike Shanahan and other members of managment.
As the number 2 overall pick for the 2012 NFL draft and reaching pro bowl in his first NFL season; he earned the nickname RG3. The former quarterback tweeted twice this week excitedly revealing the launch of the new book ; thus detailing the “shocking mismanagement and toxic culture within the most dysfunctional professional football team in America”. The book is due to be released in August 2022.
RG3 Isn’t The Only One With WFT Sexual Harrassment Allegations
Speaking of Dan Snyder…unlike RG3; the Washington Football Team settled a sexual misconduct claim against him for 1.6 Mil for abuse of female employees. Sadly, a minimum of 15 women came forward with claims of sexual mistreatment and harrassment against the team. Even Emily Applegate, the teams former marketing coordinator reported to the Washington Post that she was told ‘to wear revealing clothes so the men have something to look at’.
Apart from this, recently two members of Congress called for “complete transparency” from the NFL on its managment of the WFT investigation; sending a five-page letter to commissioner Roger Goodell in October.
