The 90’s R & B hitmaker has been trending with news that he’s in a coma. Christopher Williams made some dope hits, his number one being, ‘I’m Dreamin’. Born in Bronx, NY, the ‘Every Little Thing You Do’ singer is the nephew of Ella Fitzgerald and the cousin of Al. B. Sure.
The baritone singer received his big break in the 80’s with Geffen Records.
He would go on to make it to the Billboard charts, but in 2019 fans started noticing a significant physical distortion in his appearance. On UnSung, he mentioned his struggle with alcohol. Sharing that he, his cousin and Al and others partied hard back in the day, with plenty of wome everynight, drugs, and alcohol. The lifestyle overtook him and he sunk into a downward spiral. Thus, his health declining as well. His cousin, Al. B. Sure always seems to be right there, all the time. Always supporting him, even they both took different paths. He recently posted on Instragram to pray for his cousin, Williams, ‘who was in a coma’.
The Coma Rumor Is Not True
According to his rep, Andre Brown, Chris is quietly resting.
“Contrary to reports on social media, Christopher Williams is NOT in a coma and is in stable condition and resting comfortably. He sends his most heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of his fans for their prayers and well wishes.”
