Highlighting a major hallmark is the fact that he was the first Black National Security Adviser. Shaping our most important advisorship, he served our democracy for four decades. Unfortunately, he leaves behind a wife and three children. Reportedly Powell’s wife had also contracted COVID, but, she thankfully beat it and has recovered.

Of course the fact that a vaccinated high profile leader died having COVID-19 obviously garnered national attention. However medical examiners have disparaged the narrative shared by some of the media outlets.

Because at the end of the day, unvaccinated people have a much higher risk of contracting deadly COVID-19. On top of that, having underlying health conditions increases your chances of contracting it.

Thus, Powell on the other hand at the age of 84, had other ailments that would effect him, unfortunately. Namely, multiple myeloma, which is a blood cancer of plasma cells that mismanages the body’s immune system, according to a source reported by CNN. Plus, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Legislation Remembers Colin Powell

“Laura and I are deeply saddened by the death of Colin Powell. He was a great public servant, starting with his time as a soldier during Vietnam”, former President George W. Bush.

“General Powell was an exemplary soldier and an exemplary patriot”, said Barack Obama. “He was at the center of some of the most consequential events of our lifetimes”.

Most of his colleagues had nice things to express about Powell. However, reportedly, another former world leader had some harsh not-so-nice words to say. Yep, that would be Mr. Trump. Amazingly, the day after Powell’s passing, Donald Trump decides to wake up and choose violence.

“Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media”, he said in a statement Tuesday morning.

“Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made planty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!”
