ARLINGTON, TX.-On Wednesday, 18 year old Timothy Simpkins shot four students, after a fight broke out on the second floor of the school. Timberview High School took a hit but kept on ticking. According to CNN,four students were shot, but survived. Two are still in the hospital, the other two are home recovering, and only one had to get surgery. So, there is a silver lining in this story. There hasn’t been any key details reported on as to why the fight broke out in the first place. Whatever it was, the Texas school shooter opened fire four times. He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a bond at $75,000.
“This is not a random act of violence,” Arlington Assistant Police Chief Kevin Kolbye said at a news conference. “This is not somebody attacking our school.”
Classes are cancelled for all of Arlington County Schools until further notice. This story is still developing.
“It is so important that the Timberview High School community have time to heal, and so, there will be no school for Timberview High School on Thursday,” Principal Derrell Douglas said in a letter to parents Wednesday afternoon.

He was released Thursday after a bondmen paid the $75k. His family says he was “bullied” because he has nice things. Allegedly he shot the bully 7 or 8 times before fleeing. Upon his release, he celebrated with his family.
