Nene Leakes Claims Her Team Did Not Drop Her

Linnethia “Monique” Nene Leakes has been pushing back on allegations that she was fired from RHOA. Back in September she announced she was leaving in a Youtube video. “I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation,” she said. “There has been a lot of emotion flying from both sides. It has been hard and I have made the very hard and difficult decision to not be a part of Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13.”

What’s The Issue

When the news surfaced the internet webs that she was turning in her ‘peach’, it was rumored that she was cancelled by the show due to her feisty attitude. No one wanted to work with the queen of reality. It was rumored that she was blacklisting herself, causing a lot of catty drama with the cast members. She also had some ‘beef’ with Andy Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live and Wendy Williams. Nene seemed to take issue with the two tv hosts for talking about her exit from the show. She accused them of using her to “help with their poor ratings”. She also mentioned Wendy Williams cocaine drug addiction, calling Williams an “ole cocaine head” in a tweet. And in another social post, Leakes referred to her ex friend, Cohen as “ole racist”.

According to US Weekly, the RHOA OG responded to a fan’s tweet that Bravo should give her the spinoff she deserves. She tweeted back saying, “They don’t think I deserve to work at all in any capacity”.

Earlier this month Nene tweeted, “I have numerous emails, text messages, RHOA group texts, voice recording that go back yeaaaaarssss. And I never got rid of anything! Fix your dirty work! Being a racist is so yesterday”.

“For all of you that are asking, emailing, inboxing, blogging, reporting etc. The ONLY statement I have…my team DID NOT let me go! No further statements at this time” she tweeted.

Nene came on the show in 2008. She left in 2015, and returned in 2016. The ‘Rich Bish” herself seems to think she wont return. But hey, you never know. She always down to make a coin. See ya around gwooorl.
