Donald Trump is no longer President. Let that sink in. Apparently it’s been really hard for him to swallow that awful horse sized dose of reality too. So much so that he inspired an insurrection on the US Capitol in hopes to save his presidency for another term.

Republicans are upset, calling the impeachment unconstitutional. According to CNN, there were 45 Republicans who voted for Sen. Rand Paul’s effort (calling the trial ‘dead on arrival’) to impede the impeachment trial. However, they were beat by fifty-five on the vote, and 17 Republicans will need to vote with all Democrats when the trial begins next month.
