Jeezy Signs New Record Deal with Def Jam

Jay Wayne Jenkins AKA Young Jeezy has been making headlines this year, after just premiering his first syndicated talk show on FOX SOUL, Jeezy joined Def Jam records. Not only just signed to the label, but earning title of Senior Advisor to the interim Chairman and CEO Jeff Harleston.

“I spent most of my career learning from trial and error. I am happy to say that I am back on the team that helped me build my legacy from the streets to the boardroom and nothing makes me more fulfilled than being in a position to help guide and add value to the next generation”, the ‘Love in This Club’ hitmaker stated.

Even taking it a step further; not only is he signed to the Atlanta label, but he’s now the senior advisor. “It’s an honor to return to the label I’ve called home for 15 years, not only as an artist but as an executive,” Jeezy tells Billboard. “I spent most of my career learning from trial and error. I am happy to say that I am back on the team that helped me build my legacy from the streets to the boardroom and nothing makes me more fulfilled than being in a position to help guide and add value to the next generation.”
