Eeekkkk…..Bravo took the L for the videography they said they would provide for RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey’s big wedding day to sports show host Mike Hill. Planning for over a year for this extremely important day, her plans take a turn when she decided to change the outdoor event to an indoor one–just two days before the wedding due to Hurricane Delta.
According to TMZ, Bravo was set to have a camera crew on location on October 10, but when Cynthia changed plans to have it indoors, Bravo crew became fearful of close settings in the midst of the pandemic. They felt it wasn’t safe to film with limited space and an expected 181-person guest list. However, they are still planning to showcase the wedding on the show. Cynthia didn’t fail on the safety, tho. She did have each guests temperature taken, they were mandated to wash their hands at the entrance, and wore masks unless eating or drinking. She also had her own camera crew at the wedding, which made things easier to manage.
Talk show host Wendy Williams called Cynthia ‘selfish’ for still hosting her wedding.
“Congratulations to selfish Cynthia and her husband Mike Hill”, Williams said on her Oct. 12 show. She continued, “Some guests wore no masks at all, and all I can feel is coughing. Everybody looks beautiful, and the place looks nice, but there was no social distancing, and I’m frightened for all of them”.
According to reports, Cynthia’s good good girlfriend Nene Leakes was visibly absent from her friend’s big day. Allegedly due to the fact that Bravo didn’t pay her $125,000 to attend the wedding. According to source, Tamara Tattles first reported the allegation and also stated that Bravo denied Nene’s request, as she originally requested that dollar amount per episode for the upcoming season. Bravo approved Nene’s budget for the requested amount for only six to eight episodes. Welp, Nene chucked the deuces on that deal and instead took her red bottoms and swayed on out.
