Yeezy never ceases to amaze. But this time, he’s brought the gang along on the animation. Rather cute though, this past Sunday the West family walked on water while the choir sang, giving the illusion of miraculously walking on water the way Jesus did. The choir belted out ‘O Fortuna’ from Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana while Kanye and his children, North and Saint seemed to glide across the lake.
Pastor Joel Olsteen gave a soul stirring word during the service as well. After Kanye and his children walked across the lake,Pastor Olsteen said, “Watching these fine men and women sing. It looks like they are walking on water. My mind goes back to that time where Jesus invited Peter to walk on water. I can imagine Peter thought, ‘Jesus, what are you talking about? That’s impossible! I can’t do that!”
Joel continued, “I think we all have that in times in life where we think ‘God is telling me to do something. I feel it down inside.’ But we don’t feel qualified or have the experience.” Pastor Olsteen encouraged the congregation to walk in faith just like Peter eventually did.
