The 34 year old actress and former co-host on “The View” announced Thursday that she got married to her girlfriend, Miranda Maday. She conveyed that the ceremony was small, held at a house, writing on her IG wall, “I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home. I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new a**hole!!!”
Raven-Symone Christina Pearman, once a childhood star on the all time hit 80’s sitcom, “The Cosby Show” is now a full fledged married woman. Those in attendance of the ceremony wore masks and posed for photos with the newlyweds. The marriage came as a surprised to fans, since neither Raven nor Miranda had posted any pics of their relationship prior to their big day. Or at any point in their relationship for that matter. Until now.

Although Miranda May seems to shy away from the spot light altogether, there are only a few dozen posts present on her Instagram page including the post about her wedding. She doesn’t seem to divulge much about her personal life at all. Oddly though, her LinkedIn Profile says that she is a social media manager for a publication in Los Angeles. Go figure. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2013 and worked as a personal assistant for a while post graduation.
Social media took very highly to the news, with thousands of fans wishing them a congratulatory greeting. Everyone seemed genuinely happy for Raven and Miranda. Raven came out about her sexuality in 2013 after the legalization of gay marriage in the United States. “I can finally get married!” Yay government! So proud of you,” she tweeted at the time.
She also sat in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2014 to discuss her sexuality saying, “In that topic of dating and in love, I knew when I was like 12, I was looking at everything. I don’t want to be labeled gay. I want to be labeled a human who loves humans.”
