Kylie Jenner is no stranger to making some change. And most women purchase cosmetics, so it was a win win for Kylie. The worlds youngest billionaire sold 51% of her beauty line to fragrance company Coty, Inc. The deal is valued for the company at about 1.2 billion dollars.
The Origin Of Kylie Cosmetics
The multipreneur launched her business in 2015 as a lip drip/gloss kits. According to Coty, who also owns other fragrances like Gucci, Cover Girl, Escada, Hugo Boss, Wella and many more,will still allow Kylie to “lead all creative efforts in terms of product and communications initiatives”.
“I’m excited to partner with Coty to continue to reach even more fans of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin around the world”. Additionally, she expressed her desires of wanting her brand to be more expansive.
“I look forward to continuing the creativity and ingenuity for each collection that consumers have come to expect and engaging with my fans across social media”. She continues, “this partnership will allow me and my team to stay focused on the creation and development of each product while building the brand into an international beauty powerhouse”.
To stay busy these days, Kylie has launched a baby clothing line. She’s currently pregnant with her second child, with Travis Scott.
