- According to police, at least nine people are dead after a shootout ensued at a Nightclub in the Oregon District of Ohio. At least 27 other people were injured.
The Dayton Police said the suspect is also dead. The shooting comes after a mass shooting took place Saturday in El Paso, Texas leaving 20 people dead. Mourners in both El Paso and Dayton are urging lawmakers to enforce stricter gun control laws.
However, the Dayton shooter wore a mask, bulletproof vest and hearing protection as he opened fire, according to police chiefs.
A vigil was held Sunday for the victims as hecklers interrupted Ohio governor Mike DeWine as he offered sympathy to the community. “Do something, do something!!” the crowd demanded as the governor shared his own heartbreak of losing his daughter 26 years ago.

Both incidents happened at the triggers of assault rifles.
President Trump addressed the back to back shootings in a press conference speech Monday morning. ” In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy -these sinister ideologies must be defeated”.
