Inside sources have revealed that NBCUniversal is no longer going to host the show after picking up Kelly Clarkson’s new day time TV show to replace The Steve Harvey Show.  A second source confirm that the last Steve Harvey show aired on Thursday, May 9. New episodes will air through June and reruns will play through September. His wife, Marjorie posted a farewell picture on her Instagram Friday. It is said that NBC became a bit frustrated with the talk show host when he shifted his focus to celebrities instead of sticking to the ‘script’.  After initially changing with style in format, Steve lost viewers. He took a huge blow when the show ratings revealed there were not even 2 million viewers of the show.

Speaking with the Hollywood Reporter in 2018, Harvey acknowledged the transition had not gone as well as he had anticipated. We all know Uncle Steve is a huster, as he is still currently hosting the morning show on WHUR, family feud and multiple recurring emcee gigs. So of course his pockets will not suffer. On to the next…..
