Why they try the Queen tho?? The world stopping popstar and reebok had announced a major collaboration in order to develop new signature footwear and apparel.

According to ESPN writer Nick DePaula, the music icon took diversity into strong consideration when declining whom to work with, saying on a recent episode of The Jump, “I had heard a great story about how, throughout this process, in the last year or two, she had discussed with Under Armour, Reebok as well. Jordan, at one point, was interested in maybe partnering with her. She had meeting at Reebok, and they had a whole presentation of everything, potential products, how this could all look. And she kind of took a step back and said, “Is this the team that will be working on my product”?
Someone responded, ‘yes’. And she said, “Nobody in this room, reflects my background, my skin color and where I’m from and what I want to do’. So she took a step back and left. And then it did not come to terms”.
Fellow panelists and television host Rachel Nichols observed how unprepared Reebok reportedly was considering Bey’s background.
Reebok Responds
In a statement given to Metro, a representative for the brand denied the claims, saying, “The report that Beyoncé walked out of a meeting with Reebok due to lack of diversity is categorically false. Our discussions with Beyoncé and her team continued for several months after our initial meeting. We are disappointed that false information is being reported as fact.” So far, Beyoncé hasn’t responded. And she probably won’t because she’s a boss and has bigger and better things to do. Period.
